De su origen y fundaci\u00f3n nada se sabe con certeza ya que el fuego devor\u00f3 el archivo parroquial en un incendio que se produjo el 31 Agosto de 1811 en la casa rectoral.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">El templo de San Mauro Abad, datado del S. XVI, es una sencilla iglesia de planta rectangular y una sola nave que incluye, capilla, coro y presbiterio.
